Zilbiyr

Todd Blum Bloodstock are excited to be involved in offering imported horse, Zilbiyr. He was purchased in Ireland by Mornington based trainer, Robert Kingston, and clients out of Ireland.
Zilbiyr is a Northern Hemisphere three-year-old and a last start winner, having won his Maiden impressively at Wexford early in May as a colt. He has had a summer break, has been gelded and is approaching the prime of his life to begin racing here in Australia.
Zilbiyr is a progressive type who has improved with each start and is also showing that each rise in distance has been beneficial to him and he looks an ideal candidate for middle distance and staying races here in Australia. His pedigree suggests he will excel around the 2400m mark.
He is from a Dalakhani mare, which is where he gets his grey colour and the stamina in his pedigree. His sire Holy Roman Emperor is a leading sire worldwide and produces quality horses at all distances.
Zilbiyr was bred by the Aga Khan and his horses are renowned worldwide for their soundness and toughness on the track. They are well known for improving as they age and mature which makes me very excited for Zilbiyr’s future.
He has shown he handles all types of ground so we can plan his programme year round, targeting staying races at Carnival time in the eastern states. He is a very exciting horse to have as part of the team and I hope I can encourage you to be part of the group that race him here in Australia.
