Todd Blum

 

Todd Blum is a young man who has always been keen to get involved in the Racing Industry.

 

As a boy he was obsessed with pedigrees and has continued to learn as much as he could about what is behind the horse instead of just the idividual itself.

 

Todd has worked in the Industry in the stable of Shane Nichols at Mornington, who he now keeps a close association with, attending sales with Shane and promotion of bloodstock amongst other things.

 

Todd also worked at Darley's Northwood Park where he worked with some of the best bloodstock in the country. During his time at Darley spent countless hours soaking in information from everyone and also represented Darley at a number of sales across Australia where he got on very well with people doing inspections and buyers of the horses.

 

Todd also has a Diploma of Commerce attained at Deakin University. This course focuses on the business world and are skills that can be easily transferred into the Bloodstock side of thoroughbred industry.

 

Todd is also the host of Racing Podcast, The Trainers Hut. The Podcast features all aspects of the racing industry and speaks to all the key people in the industry from stud owners, breeders, trainers and owners. Todd is also Bloodstock Director for Bruce Maya's Mayford Park. A boutique breeding and racing operation, based in Larboutouche. Todd's role ranges from managing racehorses to matings and everything in between. 

 

Todd started Todd Blum Bloodstock with the aim of helping people from all walks of life in the racing industry in any way he can to make their experience in the Sport Of Kings better.
