Stockdale's Son Eminent At Sandown
The Frankie Stockdale trained Eminent Son heads to Sandown Hillside in the Chandler Macleod Handicap over 1000m on Wednesday with Brandon Stockdale to ride.
Eminent Son was purchased by Frankie Stockdale and Todd Blum Bloodstock for $100,000 at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2yo's In Training Sale.
The last start winner was impressive at Racing.com Park when running away with the win over the same distance on the Polytrack.
Brandon Stockdale will again ride and has been in excellent form with a recent city double, one of which was trained by his father Frankie, after returning from an injury forced break.
"Frankie has always had a high opinion of this horse and the way he won last start at Pakenham I think he is entitled to a shot at a 64 here in town on a Wednesday," said Todd Blum.
"Brandon is on board again and he has been in some excellent form as of late and his last three ride's for Frankie have all been winner's."
Eminent Son has raced at Metro level before with his second start being at Flemington where he finished eighth with the talented So Si Bon in second place in the two-year-old event.
