TBB and 888 Racing Strike Vobis Gold

Todd Blum Bloodstock teamed up with Dean Binaisse and his 888 Racing operation at the recent Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling Sale to secure Lot 10, an Equiano colt out of Latino Goss from the draft of Oakford Thoroughbred Farm for $15,000.

Binaisse and TBB have been working closely in recent times after a long association and this colt marks the first time they have come together at the Yearling Sales.

"I have known Dean for quite a while now and have started doing some work with him recently with his website now as well as some bloodstock work," said Todd Blum.

"Dean has been on the look out for a nice colt to target some smart two-year-old races such as the Inglis Banner on Cox Plate Day and the Inglis Vobis Gold race that he has had some placings in in the last couple of years and this horse fitted the bill nicely.

"He is a nice strong colt that should get to the track early and with the shin soreness program Dean has in place at 888 Racing with the water walker and first class facilities we would expect this colt to have every chance."

The bay colt is by former shuttle stallion Equiano and is out of the two time winning mare, Latino Goss. She is by Captain Rios and like Equiano was a racehorse that showed a lot of speed as well as being a two-year-old winner.

There are opportunities available to get involved in this exciting opportunity so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are interested or have any further questions.

This is also the same sale that Todd Blum Bloodstock teamed up with Frankie Stockdale at last year to purchase a Redoute's Choice colt out of French Alliance that was purchased for $80,000.

The colt has since been named No Dreams All Hope and is in training at Frankie Stockdale's Pakenham stables. He has been seen at public trials and wont be far away from heading to the races.
