TBB Acquire A Share In Exciting Filly

Todd Blum Bloodstock are delighted to have acquired a share in Robbie Kingston's exciting Declaration Of War x Fusaichi Rose yearling filly on behalf of a new client, John Barnes.

The exciting prospect was purchased on the Gold Coast at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale and is a tall, lengthy filly with plenty of upside.

"She is by first season sire Declaration Of War who was an outstanding racehorse in the Northern Hemisphere and is by War Front who has really broken out to be one of the leading sire's in the world in recent years," said Todd Blum.

"She is out of a Fusaichi Pegasus mare who continues to prove to be an excellent broodmare sire and the dam is a half to a champion filly in Serenade Rose, who of course won both the VRC Oaks and the AJC Oaks."

Fusaichi Rose is the dam of four winners, with recent winner Rock And Rose, breaking her maiden at Sale for the Lindsay Park training team of David Hayes, Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig.

"It is great to have John involved as we also have some other clients involved in the horse so I am excited to get this filly to the races.

"The Declaration Of War's sold very well at the Gold Coast and I believe they will continue to do so and think that he is going to be a great sire here in Australia."

The yearling filly has also please trainer Robbie Kingston saying, "she is a terrific filly and I was rapt to secure her on the Gold Coast.

"She is a great mover and she also has a very nice temperament. When she came off the truck at home there were no antics, she was just off the truck and into the paddock like a professional.

"I think that she has shown me enough that I am going to start the educating and breaking process a little earlier than I initially planned as she is more of a forward filly and I am excited to see what she can do for the owners."
