TBB Secure Share In Promising Import

Todd Blum Bloodstock are thrilled to have purchased a share in Robbie Kingston's promising imported galloper, Zilbiyr, on behalf of new clients Mark and Melissa Bailey.

Clients of the Mornington based trainer purchased the horse overseas and following a win at Wexford decided to bring the horse to Australia.

Zilbiyr is by Holy Roman Emperor who is back standing at stud in Australia at Aquis Farm in Queensland. The European three-year-old is out of the Dalakhani mare, Zaziyra, and was bred by His Highness the Aga Khan.

The recently gelded Zilbiyr had six starts in the Northern Hempisphere for one win, two seconds and a third. He has been brought to Australia with a 64 rating which gives Kingston plenty of options going forward.

"Mark and Melissa have been involved in racing for some time and shares in a number of horses around Australia," said Todd Blum.

"Having known Mark for a little while now when I heard about this opportunity I forwarded on the information thinking that he may know someone who may be keen to get involved and he jumped at the opportunity/

"He is a really neat horse that has travelled well and Robbie has just been building him up nicely as he is still learning about the horse."

Zilbiyr's immedediate aim looks to be next years Mornington Cup, with the winner of that race gaining an automatic start in the Caulfield Cup.

"There are a few idea's for him at this stage but we sure wont be rushing him along and we will just see how far he can take us," said Kingston.

Zilbiyr sure is an exciting prospect and we look forward to seeing him at the races in Australia for Mark and Melissa as well as the other owners.
