Ready 2 Race Results
The Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale was held on Tuesday and Frankie Stockdale had a 15 strong draft of colts that were specifically aimed at the sale. Most of these colts were purchased F Stockdale and Todd Blum Bloodstock purchases.
The first colt through the ring was the Lonhro x Murray Mary colt who was purchased out of the Inglis Premier Sale and will head to Queensland after being purchased by Harold Norman for $16,000.
Also heading to Queensland with Stuart Kendrick is the Star Witness x Body Language colt who was knocked down for $30,000.
The next colt was Lot 43 and was the Hinchinbrook x New Addition colt that was purchased for $63,000 and will most likely remain here in Victoria.
Lot 52 was the Duporth x Pacific Belle colt that was a $28,000 purchase from the Inglis Classic Sale earlier in the year and was sold for $40,000 on Tuesday to the Macau Jockey Club.
The fastest colt to breeze-up at Cranbourne was the Sepy x Ross Mia colt and was knocked down to the Seoul Racecourse Trainers Association of South Korea for $85,000. He was a $52,500 Inglis Premier Purchase for Stockdale and TBB.
Randwick Bloodstock Agency were the successful bidder on Lot 96, the So You Think x Soft Landing colt (pictured), for $32,500.
One of the premier lots of the Stockdale draft was the Starspangledbanner x Suite colt that was a $105,000 Premier purchase. He was knocked down to the Hong Kong based Magus Equine for $150,000.
Lot 113 was the Excelebration x Swiss Current colt that was a $28,000 buy in Sydney at the Classic Sale and was sold to Thailand buyer V Pongsri-Iam for $60,000.
Lot 137 will be heading to Tasmania after being purchased by Gee Gees Stud for $60,000.
There were some lots that were unfortunately passed in which included the Redoute's Choice x French Alliance, Exceed and Excel x Gabrielli and the High Chaparral x Dashing Eagle colts.
