Sepoy Colt Sizzle's at Cranbourne Breeze-Ups
Frankie Stockdale's Sepoy x Rossa Mia colt clocked the fastest time at the Cranbourne breeze-ups for the Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale in October.
The Sepoy colt was one of 140 two-year-old's that galloped 200m in front of prospective buyers and clocked a speedy time of 10:26 on the track which was rated Good.
The Sepoy colt was a $52,500 buy for Frankie Stockdale and Todd Blum Bloodstock and was ear-marked for the Ready 2 Race Sale.
This colt is the second foal out of the Testa Rossa mare, Rossa Mia, who's first foal is the city placed October Tutu. Rossa Mia is a half sister to the Group 2 winning Stokehouse and the Listed Blue Diamond Preview winning filly, Malasun.
"Frankie has bought a group of really nice colts that are really suited to this Ready 2 Race Sale that continues to grow and build momentum," said Todd Blum.
"He has been coming to the sale for a couple of years now and together with a client of his they have had some pretty good results."
Simon Vivian, Inglis' Victorian Bloodstock Manager, was thrilled with how the day progressed, labeling it, "an outstanding success."
“The vendors turned their horses out in terrific fashion and that was proven with the very, very good times run throughout the day,’’ Vivian said.
“All the horses appeared very well educated and had obvious ability which augers well for their prospective sale at the Inglis Ready2Race in Sydney on October 4.’’
