Zoot Suit Back In Action
Zoot Suit Riot will kick off 2016 for TBB as their first runner for the year at Tatura on Sunday, in the Rushton Park BM64 Handicap over 1000m.
Last year was a very successful year for TBB as the young agency continues to build momentum with 2015 seeing TBB's first winner, first horse purchased at public auction and purchased or sold privately.
Zoot Suit Riot was racing very well late last year with a second placing at Albury his last start on 12 December, after winning at Kilmore two starts previously.
Cory Parish has been booked to ride who was aboard that win at Kilmore.
"TBB has had a good start to the year with the yearling sales teaming up with Frankie Stockdale at Inglis Classic and Premier and gaining some new clients in the media arm of the business, as well as taking our first external website live." Said Todd Blum.
"Zoot Suit is first up after a spell but he has been spelling at my property and he was doing really well I thought I would just bring him back in." Explained trainer, Adam O'Neill.
"We were going to give him a jump out at Bendigo but the last couple times we've done that he has just won easy and we've wished we went to the races so we thought first up over 1000m would suit.
"We sent him to the paddock prematurely with the virus that went through the stable so he had plenty of base fitness from last prep and he enjoys racing fresh."
"Zoot has already been such a good horse to us winning first up but he it is always good to see him keep performing for both Rex Colless and Mark Greenhalgh, who I put in the horse, and also my association with Adam O'Neill Racing."
