Rawoof To Debut For O'Neill

Todd Blum Bloodstock's first private purchase, Rawoof, makes her debut for Adam O'Neill at Kilmore, in the Wallan Engineering Maiden Plate over 1212m.

Rawoof has had one previous start, where she finished tenth as a three-year-old at the start of the year, and was previously trained by the Lindsay park team, David Hayes and Tom Dabernig.

"She is a mare with a bit of talent and we have been patient with her but she has had a few little issues since coming to us that we believe we have fixed, time has been her friend." Explained O'Neill.

Rawoof is by champion sire, Lonhro, out of the Danehill mare, Alqwah, which makes her a half brother to the impressive Faatinah, who has been running in the city throughout the Spring.

"She is a well bred mare and hopefully Mr. Healey can have some fun with her on the track and chalk up some good results before sending her to stud." Said Todd Blum.

"Her pedigree has only improved since we purchased her with the three-year-old (Faatinah) winning on debut and then being Listed placed and her half sister has since thrown a winner (Salamaat) so the signs are that the family can produce winners."

Kilmore has been a happy hunting ground for TBB with the first ever runner they have been involved in winning there on a Monday also. Can lightning strike twice?

Rawoof is coming off a jump-out win at Bendigo and looks primed to be back at the races.
