Magic Millions Purchases for TBB and Frankie Stockdale

TBB and Frankie Stockdale were again active together purchasing two very nice colts from the Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Sale on the Gold Coast held on Tuesday.

Lot 97 was a Love Conquers All x Artisan colt purchased for $36,000 for stable clients of Stockdale's and Lot 115 is a Husson x Cash Crazy colt purchased for $100,000, and there is limited opportunities available.

The Love Conquers All colt is out of the Arena mare, Artisan, who is a half sister to the Group 2 winner, Mr Martini. Also featured in the second dam is the Bel Esprit mare, Le Bel Away, who is the dam of the Magnus colt Stockdale recently sold at the Inglis Star Ready2Race Sale for $80,000.

"His time (11:21) wasn't all that flash but he was all over the place like he didn't know what day it was," explained Stockdale.

"He has plenty of room there to improve and I think he will be a really nice colt when it all comes together.

"He is a late foal and hasn't even had his second birthday yet, so we were excited to get him."

Todd was equally enthused saying: "He is a brilliant mover and he has a bit of size about him, there is plenty there for Frankie to work with."

The Husson colt out of the Secret Savings mare, Cash Crazy, had a breeze up time of 10:17. Speed runs in the family with his dam being a winner over 900m at two.

Cash Crazy is the dam of four foals to race, all winners. They include Jackpot Queen (Not A Single Doubt), who is a Flemington winner and amassed over $200,000 in prizemoney.

Cash Crazy is the half sister to Plain Crazy who was a winner at two years of age as well and won just under $150,000 in prize money.

"He is a magnificent colt," explained Stockdale.

"As soon as you see him he just takes your eye. He is a beauty.

"He is a sensational type and I really liked his gallop he has a really good action."

"Again I think Frankie has hit the nail on the head with this colt, he is an excellent mover and by a sire who has just had a horse win another Group 1 in Lucky Hussler, and he his breeze up was terrific." Said Todd.

"He is an exciting prospect being from a speed family that run early."
