Rover Rebels Against Long Odds
Rebel Rover has shown he has a distinct liking for the Pakenham Synthetic Track winning his second race in a row on the surface.
The Shane Nichols trained gelding finished 11th of 11 on the turf the start before he won at his first go on the new surface.
Dale Smith was a gain successful on Rebel Rover being aboard for two of his three wins.

The son of Bel Esprit was bred by long time Nichols client in Ray Atchison who still owns the horse. The pair have had a lot of success in the past with horses from the same mare, Gypsy Marauder, in Falken who was an eight time winner, and the full brother to Rebel Rover in Belzace who won two races before being sold to Hong Kong.
There are more horses coming through the Shane Nichols yard in full relations Powermax and Princess Marauder. Powermax is a two year old by Magnus and Princess Marauder is a yealing filly.
