Busy Day For TBB at Moe
Todd Blum Bloodstock have an interest in three runners at Sunday's Moe meeting with Shane Nichols having two racing in the second race with Scintiller looking for her first win and the first starter in Punt Rose. Mayford Park also have the stalwart, Canadian Major, racing at his home track.
Scinitller, a three year old filly by Shaft, was passed in at the 2013 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Book and was then sent to Shane Nichols by owners, Di Lanham and Lillian Cooney. She has had six starts for a best result of third at her second and third start both over the 1000m which she faces at Moe.
Punt Rose is the first starter and will be ridden by in form young gun Patrick Moloney who rode three winners at Saturday's Moonee Valley meeting. Punt Rose was withdrawn from the 2013 Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling Sale and retained to race by Phillip Anderson of Salamander Park. Punt Rose is by Any Given Saturday and is out of an Encosta De Lago mare.
Canadian Major is the stalwart of the horses Mayford Park have ownership interests in and is very well placed in Race 7. He finds himself at his pet distance of a mile and at a track he has won at before. The son of Commands has been disspointing so far this prep and trainer, Peter Gelagotis, is keen that his fortune can change.
