General Win in Adelaide

I Am The General heads to Adelaide on Saturday in what is a very good chance to claim another win over the 1050m.

The speedy son of I Am Invincible was a winner two starts ago and finished fifth at his last start at Mornington in the Get Around The @WilliamHillWolf Handicap over the 1000m. It was an encouraging run on the soft track in which he was only 1.75 lengths off the winner.

I Am The General will again face a soft track which isn't a major issue although he prefers the good going. The large ownership group will be hoping for another good showing here in what will be his second city win if he can take out the race.

Jason Holder will take the ride at 58kg and is in some good form with two wins at his last two meetings. It will be Holder's first ride on the horse and one that he is looking forward to.

Trainer, Shane Nichols, is confident of a good showing from his charge and has been known for successful raids to Adelaide.
