Godavari Running at Moe

The Shane Nichols trained Godavari heads to Moe today, the scene of the crime of his first win. In one start at the track he got the job done and he looks well placed to do the same thing today.

The Lonhro gelding is coming off a fourth at Werribee where he was squeezed out the back and came down the home straight with wings. His previous run before that was at his home track at Mornington where he was ridden more comfortably abd loomed the winner in the straight before he was closed on late to finish second.

This level and distance is right up his alley and we know he likes the track.
