Can Robert be De Hero?

It is an exciting weekend for a good friend of Todd Blum Bloodstock with Nick Konstantinidis featuring in the ownership of Flemington runner Robert De Hero.

He takes his place in Race 2 at Headquarters in the Phillip Schuler Anzac Day Stakes over the 1400m. It looks to be a competitive race with some exciting horses including Invincible Knight trained by Peter Moody and David Hayes and Tom Dabernig preparing More Than Most, who runs in the same colours as the other training pairs star, Critertion.

Nick is part of the team at Woodside Park and has also worked with Todd when the pair were at Darley where Robert De Hero's sire Von Costa De Hero stands.

The Matthew Ellerton and Simon Zahra trained two year old colt was a $40,000 purchase at last year's Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling Sale and looks a really promising horse.

Robert De Hero has shown promise in his two previous starts with a fourth on the opening day at Park and a forgive run when ninth in town last start.

Nick is a young man who already has a wealth of knowlegde in the breeding industry and I am sure he will feature as a more prominent figure in the years to come.
