TBB and Stockdale Purchase Redoute's Colt At Vobis Sale

Frankie Stockdale struck early at the Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling Sale, purchasing lot 8, the Redoute's Choice x French Alliance colt. Stockdale went to $80,000 for the colt from the Morningrise Stud draft and was bought in conjunction with Todd Blum Bloodstock. This colt is the first foal from the unraced Hussonet mare, French Alliance, but has a terrific female family behind him. His granddam is the stakes performed French mare, Daralara, and has a pedigree littered with International black type. "This is another colt that Frankie has purchased for the Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale in October and he is a colt that will be sought after up there." Said Todd Blum.

Easy Best At Echuca

Easy Best got off to a dream start for the Adam O'Neill stable for new connections after being purchased privately in a deal brokered by Todd Blum Bloodstock. The four-year-old gelding won yesterday at Echuca, winning the Moama Bowling Club Handicap over 1400m. He was ridden by Cory Parish who took the son of Easy Choice towards the front of the field, after jumping away well and settled just behind the leading pair, before reeling out at the home turn and running away with it down the home straight.
