Swan Hill Straight to Suit Zoot

Zoot Suit Riot heads to Swan Hill on Sunday for the Swan Hill Bus Lines BM64 Handicap over 1200m, the last race of the day. Trainer, Adam O'Neill, has been pleased with the way the horse has come through his last start win at Kilmore, in what was his first race for the stable. "We intentionally spaced his runs as he we believe he races well fresh as he showed us at Kilmore and we think the Swan Hill straight should suit his pattern of getting back and winding up late." Explained O'Neill. "Jack Martin has been booked to ride which will give him some weight relief as he can claim 3kgs which takes him from 58.5kgs to 55.5kgs. "He has taken all before him since his last start and has really impr

TBB Fillies Looking For Pedigree Updates

It will be an exciting weekend for connections of TBB fillies Rawoof, purchased for clients of Adam O'Neill and Host x Northeast Note filly, who TBB clients are involved, also trained by Adam O'Neill. The Robbie Griffiths trained, Northkape, is a half sister to the Host x Northeast Note filly who was purchased by O'Neill and is in his care at his Bendigo base. She makes a return to the track at Moonee Valley tonight, in what will be her first start as a three-year-old. Northkape burst onto the scene with a win at Cranbourne in the $100,000 Vobis Gold Plate in June. She then had one more start, at Caulfield, in which she had no luck and finished in the second half of the field. She then heade

Trinity House Has a Filly

Bruce Maya's Mayford park, was pleased to hear that Fastnet Rock mare, Trinity House, foaled for the first time and has had a Canford Cliffs filly. The two time winner raced in the Mayford Park colours winning twice before succumbing to a pre-existing injury. Trinity House was purchased by Mayford Park out of the 2012 Inglis March Thoroughbred Sale for the bargain price of $2,000 out of the Lindsay park draft. She was originally a $235,000 yearling purchase out of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and placed in the care of David Hayes. Injuries plagued her at the start of her career and the ownership group decided that they were going to move her on rather than keep persisting. She

First Runner, First Winner for TBB

Zoot Suit Riot showed a blistering turn of foot at Kilmore on Monday to win the Kilmore Turf Cup 22 November 2015 Handicap over 1112m, in what was his first start for trainer, Adam O'Neill. After jumping even, Cory Parish took him to the rear of the field and settled last. As they came down the hill and hit the home turn, Parish took Zoot Suit Riot around the field and ran them down in an impressive display with 59kgs on his back. "It was a great win for Adam and his team and it was a big thrill to have the first TBB runner a winner." Said Todd Blum. "It was also satisfying because TBB had some clients involved in the Not A Single Doubt gelding as well." Adam O'Neil added "it was an impressi

"Previously I have done a lot of work with Bruce Maya and his Mayford Park operation and I have since decided to branch out and expand my agency so I am glad to see it is moving forward. "I got a phone call from Mr. Rex Colless who was keen to get involved in some horses in

Faatinah To Run On Cup Day

The TBB and O'Neill Racing teams will be hopeful that Faatinah can continue his recent run of brilliant form when he lines up on Cup Day in the Schweppes #FlemingtonFling over 1000m. Faatinah is by Nicconi and is out of the Danehill mare, Alqwah, which makes him a half to the TBB purchased, O'Neill trained, Rawoof. Rawoof was originally trained at Lindsay Park for Shadwell Stud and after one start was sent to the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale where she was purchased for by Ponderosa Park.
