This Deep Field colt was purchased by Todd Blum Bloodstock in conjunction with Shane Nichols Racing at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for $30,000.

We had to wait until late in the sale for this Deep Field colt but I am glad we waited. Deep Field is a stallion that is going from strength to strength and this colts dam was a three-time winner and is fairly well related.

He is a beautiful moving colt and was a steal at the price of $30,000. He will come home to Shane's Moorooduc property and be given a small break before starting his educating and breaking in process.

Deep Field can get an excellent horse and there are becoming more of them as he is bearing the fruit of his larger and better books of mares on the back of his early results. Horses such as Aysar who is one of the leading chances for a race such as the Group 1 Australian Guineas.

Caruselle was a winner of three races from 1100m to 1400m and she herself had plenty of speed. She is related to the Listed winning Distant Melody and the Group 3 performed Elmore. Dual Group 1 winner Sacred Choice and Champion 2yo Marauding also feature in the page.
